Sam’s Town is one of the must-visit casinos on the Boulder Strip, offering a break from the hectic pace of the Strip and downtown, but with easy access to both. One of the largest casino/hotels in the area, Sam’s boasts 646 rooms and suites, an extensive retail promenade, a wide variety of fine restaurants, many popular quick dining options, and a gaming floor which features machine gaming at odds much better than one may find on the Strip (along with plenty of tables at fairly average odds). The regular rooms at Sam’s are not ultra-luxury suites, but do offer clean, comfortable accommodation at an attractive price. Sam’s is unique in that they make up for their rather remote location by offering hourly shuttle buses to and from the Strip and Fremont street, with priority seating for hotel guests.

Sam’s features a light, sound, and animatronic animal show in their large atrium every night, which is by many considered to be a must-see Las Vegas icon. The most desirable rooms at Sam’s feature an inward-facing view of this atrium, and can often be had on request during check-in.

Sam’s Town is named after Sam Boyd, one of the founding fathers of modern gaming in Las Vegas. As if that wasn’t enough, Sam’s Town also bears the distinction of being a construction project overseen by the Marnell family as architects and contractors. This association means that Sam’s was designed and built by those responsible for such iconic structures as Bellagio, Wynn Las Vegas, the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace, Mirage, Rio, M Resort, and many more iconic structures in Las Vegas.

Sam’s Town is also extremely RV friendly, with an extensive, well equipped, and well-patrolled RV park conveniently attached for those who don’t need a room because they brought their own.
