Opened in 1993 as part of the Mirage Resorts family, Treasure Island shares a tram with its sister, the Mirage. Built for $450 million dollars, it was remodeled in 1999 for $65 million. The ‘Sirens of TI’ is a free show performed nightly in front of the hotel.

Phil Ruffin purchased the hotel in 2009 from MGM Mirage for $775 million.

This was not my first visit to Vegas but it was my first time staying at Treasure Island. I had a no smoking room 2 queen beds 14th floor. When I asked for extra towels they were there immediatley. They had the most comfortable beds. Only MGM West Wing can beat that. Buffet was reasonably priced and food was fresh. Lines? Expect lines everywere for everything. I saw longer lines at the Paris hotel. They moved quickly. We did not go to pool. I would stay her again.
