The Venetian opened in 1999 with what they claim are the biggest standard hotel rooms in the world. Busy all week with conventions and swinging on the weekends, it is one of the most plush resorts in Las Vegas. A new ‘hotel within a hotel’, Venezia, opened in June 2003 and added over 1000 additional rooms to the resort.
A room renovation project in the original Venetian Tower began in October 2006 and will be completed in about one year.
