If you're looking for a place to sleep & you'll be on the move most of the time you're in Vegas, Bill's is a great place to stay. Can't bear the location for the price and the rooms are descent. If you plan on spending a little more time in the room, spend the extra money & stay somewhere else.

We love this place. I have been to Vegas twice. And my girlfriend (now fiancé) had never been to Vegas. I wanted her to experience the Strip. And this IS the perfect place for the price. It's smokey, but expect that. If you truly want luxury then stay elsewhere. It's old Vegas at its best. Two dollar margaritas, speedy check in and friendly staff. We have stayed here twice, and I hope to surprise her next year with our third stay at Bills. We are looking forward to trying the Slush Bar (where Seattles Best and another coffee joint used to be) on our next visit. Oh, and you get to use the Flamingo pool next door. Just show your room key!!!

Perfect for what it is. Nice rooms. Great location and value

5 Stars Robyn December 22, 2011

Stayed here on my honeymoon. Loved it. We paid a little extra more (just $50 a night) to get a view of the strip. One of the best views I have ever had at Vegas. Had the Eiffel Tower and Bellagio fountains for a view. For the price and the location, this place is great!

5 Stars Robert Tillsley October 27, 2011

Had a great time in bills 3rd time staying there people very friendly and staff always nice yes it is like stepping back in time but is very comforting . Bills is in prime location on the strip rooms are very clean and very reasonable in the price cannot wait to get back and it will be back as always to bills

4 Stars Melissa August 26, 2011

Fab friendly place, great staff and good place to gamble! X

For the $, Bills was a great choice. Although my review may be biased because we got a complimentary upgrade from a Standard room to a Suite, which was huge. 1 and a half baths, a jacuzzi off the living area (complete with a stage that was only missing a stripper pole) dining area, kitchenette, huge closet and a king bed. Obviously the place is old and dated, but the room was clean. I wasn't afraid to walk barefoot on the carpet, which is a good indicator for me. We'll definitely stay here again, especially on a Friday or Saturday when the rates are super reasonable compared to newer properties. Bill's would be a great boutique hotel if it was renovated.

4 Stars 360 Vegas Mark August 23, 2011

Got upgraded to a suite, room was really cool, huge. If you're looking for a clean room for cheap on the weekend, look no further. We would stay at again.

4 Stars DM49323 June 26, 2011

Dollar for dollar, the Classic Rooms at Bill's are nicer than the Deluxe rooms next door at the Flamingo for about half the price. Bill's is a great value play.

Awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just not the same...

3 Stars Tdizzle May 25, 2011

I miss the coast:(

4 Stars Shanester February 27, 2011

This was a good hotel had a great view of the Bellagio fountain and in a central location. My only gripe was they need new mattresses my mattress was so lumpy and uncomfortable. Won money on the slots and tables and the people were friendly.

1 Star Hoganswinger February 14, 2011

Went here for the cheap steak and with gambling losses it ended up costing us about $50. No good tables or slots for a cheap steak.

5 Stars Shay November 28, 2010

Best value on the strip. Fast check in, nice rooms, flat screen tvs. The small size certainly has it's advantages. If you're doing Vegas on the cheap but still want to be on the strip, this is the place to stay.

5 Stars JG November 14, 2010

Forgot to rate...see review below.

0 Stars JG November 14, 2010

After reading many positive reviews, we booked our 5 night stay at Bill's. No regrets...super fast check-in, clean rooms, friendly staff (except one fellow at the players club desk...no personality at all), easy to navigate. You do enough walking in Vegas, it shouldn't be a two mile hike to your room from the lobby. Sure it's smoky in the casino, but EVERY casino is smoky. You're in Vegas...expect it.

0 Stars Jaymes September 26, 2010

A good place to shoot craps on the strip. Experienced stickmen who know what they're doing, are friendly, but professional, and offer a little advice, especially helpful for new players. The drink service was consistent. What more do you need in a casino?

0 Stars Tres September 13, 2010

Went to Bill's yesterday... What a dump!!! Rude rude bartenders, no cocktail service, and no comped drinks while gaming at bar. Drinks I paid for were wrong, and I got horrible attitude from the bar staff when I asked for the drink to be fixed. They still didn't get it right. We have been there in the past and had wonderful service and a great time. Never again!! Horrible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

4 Stars Frankie Five August 31, 2010

Stayed here for the cheap room and was not dissapointed. We had a room that overlooked the Bellagio fountains which was nice. The problem was it was street side and a bit noisy. Other than that no complaints. Room well appointed, staff were friendly and the machines actually paid off. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. This is not a hoity toity hotel just an economical fun place in the middle of the action. The money I saved I used to shop and gamble. The other strip hotels should take note and see if they have great room rates, good staff and a fun atmosphere people will spend and come back. I will be booking another stay for may.

3 Stars Erik August 05, 2010

Rooms, hallways are dark and bathrooms are small. But you can get a really good rate and the room does have large comfy beds a big screen tv and access to the flamingo pool. A solid high 2 to low 3 star room. Casino is busy and bar can take a while to get a drink at.

1 Star Jerry June 26, 2010

Back in the day when it was the BC, this place was as good as gold. Went back for the last time. Never again. Michael Gaughan should be ashamed for selling out. The BC was a gem. Now it's a corporate dump.

3 Stars Bob June 12, 2010

Love to play at Bill's, but there are much better options for a room up and downthe strip. Casino floor defines Vegas for me, always crowded, Huge Elvis guy, love the atmosphere.

0 Stars Big Al May 06, 2010

This place is like a big turd floating in the desert. I walked inside for about 10 minutes and it reaked of smoke and old lingering farts.

3 Stars Sylvia M. April 26, 2010

Bill's is older but it was so much fun! If you want low limit tables and slots go here. We played the $5 craps tables and had so much fun. Every staff member we encountered was also very pleasant and courteous. Good place to go just to mess around with a few bucks!

0 Stars Patrick April 20, 2010

Hey, anyone else remember when this place was the Barbary Coast and was a great place to go? Yeah, me too. That place is long gone. This place is horrible now. The service is a joke, the bosses are rude, the dealers are rude, the whole place is a shell of what it used to be. The only thing that remains of what was a great spot is Mike the bellhop and the entrance doors that still have "BC" on the glass. What a joke.

3 Stars Ryan April 15, 2010

I stayed at Bills in 2007, right after the name had changed from Barbary Coast. Back then, the workers still had some courtesy and treated us well. I used to frequent Bills regularly for the small casino feel and low-limit games. After my last trip, I vowed never to go back. I was playing $5 blackjack (at 6-5 mind you, already getting screwed), when they rotated our dealer who couldn't speak English, for a new dealer who couldn't speak English and wore ear plugs. He wouldn't communicate with the players and seemed annoyed to even be there. After I left the table, I stopped to talk to the pit-boss about how having a dealer with ear plugs who wont even smile at the players is poor customer service and she told me I was "Just mad that I lost my money". Harrahs has turned this place into a dump, and it appears they know that since it isn't even part of total rewards. If you want to play cheap for a good time, I suggest you walk down the strip and hang out at the Tropicana. Otherwise, head caddy-corner to the Bellagio for one of the best gaming experiences on the strip.

4 Stars Brandon April 02, 2010

For a budget hotel, I love Bills. We stayed here in Nov 2009, perfect location. Great for a short trip to vegas. Great slot selection for such a small casino's. Dealers are nice, drink service is very good. And for a budget hotel, the rooms are as good as your going to get.

0 Stars Sylvia M. April 02, 2010

What can you say about Bill's? Seriously this place was so much fun! The service was great, the machines were decent and the tables were fun! The staff is willing to help you out if you're just learning the table games. The table limits are low, so if you're just learning, this is the perfect place to go! We spent a good amount at Bill's just fooling around on the $5 craps table, which proved to be a good thing for us!
Go in here just for the experience... you won't be disappointed!

4 Stars Erik April 01, 2010

Drinks are cheap if not a little sugary. Good atmosphere. No mini bac. Big Elvis is enjoyable as is kareoke.

2 Stars Lin March 26, 2010

The parking garage is easily accessible from Flamingo Road and a great place to park a rental car while visiting strip casinos.

0 Stars ed greenberg March 06, 2010

Almost like downtown Vegas on the Strip. Looser machines, no glitz. For hardcore players or those on a budget.

4 Stars Gene February 07, 2010

It is what it is with no apologies. If you like dive bars you will love Bill's. Cheap and dirty with loads of blue collar old school personality. If Waffle House did a casino this would be it. Great place to learn how to gamble before you go act like a high roller. The 400lb bastard son of Elvis that sings on weekdays is pure freak show, walmart at 3am fun. The food at it's Victorian restaurant was good clean kitsch fun with it's split Americana blue plate and Chinese food offerings. It has an interior that will remind you of your eccentric aunt with 8 cats and her Asian house keeper that never actually cleans anything. If you have a soft spot for these kind of places, like I do, you will love it.

0 Stars Dapper Dan November 06, 2009

Compared to some of the more elegant hotel/casinos in Vegas, this place is like a big ole nasty turd floating in the desert.

4 Stars Steve September 10, 2009

Great location. Clean rooms. Casino is small but that's not always a bad thing. Sports book is small and crappy. Cocktail service is good.

3 Stars RobC July 23, 2009

Great location. Center strip. Nice rooms. Very small casino. No Pool.

5 Stars Amanda March 01, 2009

Loved Bill's. The location is perfect and it's easy to get to your room after a long day. The casino theme is hokey but I think it's the best kept secret on the strip.

0 Stars Chris Carson November 17, 2008

Note that this hotel has a 72 hour cancellation policy. If you can't make it there for any reason, you will still pay for it! Then they agreed not to charge us if they sold out aALL of their rooms. Lucky for us it was a busy night - Halloween, and they only had 4 rooms left. Friday morning we had a phone message saying they had rented all the rooms including ours and would not charge us. However, they still had charged us the full amount. They got paid twice for one room, which has to be illegal.

Note that this hotel has a 72 hour cancellation policy. If you can't make it there for any reason (a death in the family, airport shuts down due to bad weather, or whatever - they could care less and are very rude), you will still pay for it! We booked this hotel on their internet site on Wednesday for Friday night (less than 72 hours in advance). We tried to cancel it on Thursday (more than 24 hours before we were supposed to check in). We hadn't noticed their cancellation policy of 72 hours but they said they were still going to charge us unless they sold out all of their rooms (including ours - last). Lucky for us it was a busy night - Halloween, and they only had 4 rooms left. Friday morning we had a phone message saying they had rented all the rooms including ours and would not charge us. However, when I got our credit card statement they still had charged us the full amount. Our room rate wasn't a discounted in any way and it more than most of the big casinos were charging for the same night, but we booked it anyway based on high reviews here. The credit card company won't dispute it for us b/c we only had a verbal agreement that they wouldn't charge us for a room that someone else stayed in and paid for. They got paid twice for one room, which has to be illegal. Golden Nugget Hotel and Casino Hotel is a much better choice.

We loved everything about this hotel: location, great room and view, wonderful food in the restaurants--we ate in the Steak House twice and had a few meals in the Victorian Room, prompt service for whatever we needed, friendly and polite staff, slots that paid off way better than we expected, and the western theme was fun.

We walked around and looked at the other hotels around us, but we were perfectly happy staying at Bill's. After a day of exploring our surroundings, we were content to stay at Bill's and have all the fun we could ask for.

Also, we appreciated Security checking room keys from people getting on the elevators.

I cannot think of one bad thing to say about this hotel, and I have done a lot of traveling. I loved it and my husband was thrilled that I did because it was our 20th wedding anniversary and he chose Bill's based on the advise of a friend.

0 Stars Lisa August 02, 2008

This is the best deal in Las Vegas! Others may leave you feeling shorted but not Bill's. The rooms are clean, roomy and the beds, well, I can't say enough about the beds-slept better than at home. The staff are very friendly and on top of it. I called for extra pillows-got them with-in 5 minutes, called for a bellman and he was there before my bag was zipped. My husband went for the car and the valet had it there before I got there.

The casino is small but that just means you only have to spend five minutes looking for the other members of you party. All in all this hotel rates tops on my list and I would highly suggest it to anyone. And one more thing you must try the Victorian Room the breakfast is great-but find someone to share with because its huge.

0 Stars Brian July 19, 2007

A very nice and affordable place to stay. Loved the central location and the view from our window was great. We could see the Eiffel tower and the Bellagio fountains from our room. We would recommend this hotel to our friends.

My wife and I have been staying at the Barbary Coast since it opened. We try to visit Las Vegas at least 3 times a year, and I can assure yau that you will never find a Hotel-Casino on the strip that has a friendlier staff. When you are at the Barbary Coast, you're considered part of the family. From it's Victorian Room with a great Cinese-American Menu to bith Michaels and Drai's, the Barbay Coast has something for everyone, including the best location on the strip.

0 Stars RateVegas.com User February 24, 2005

We got a hot summer special...Buy 2 nights, get 1 night free @ $45.99 a night. Best spot on the Strip. Young adult crowd at night and the drinks kept on coming! The 24 hr cafe had a good graveyard special from 12-6am. Small casino but I liked because I did not lose my friends compared to bigger casinos. I've recommended this place to many of my friends.

0 Stars RateVegas.com User February 02, 2005

Room was clean and large. Location couldnt have been better and price was not as blood sucking as others in that same area! Service was slow and most times not very friendly. Casino is small but was fine and slots seemed to play better than say the bigger guys. All in all it is one of the better places to stay if you don't need glitz and glitter just a nice clean room in a great location.

0 Stars pandorasbox August 14, 2004

The rooms are big clean and depending where located quiet. The casino seems to attract some riffraff in the evenings but not a big problem. The bartenders arent the nicest but everyone else is plesant enough the prices are fair and the slots pay better than average. The location is perfect dosent get much better and the price is right i will go here again in the near future for sure!

0 Stars Hunter February 28, 2003

I was surprised (should I have been?) at how nice my room was. Spacious and clean. The bathroom had a window that actually opened!

0 Stars RateVegas User October 16, 2002

Decent small hotel. Best part is that the elevator dumps you right into the casino. It takes all of 4 minutes to get from your room to the sidewalk on the Strip. Bathroom was cramped. The room itself was fine - nothing fancy.

0 Stars RateVegas User September 13, 2001

THE rooms were adequate aND CLEAN BUT A LITTLE SMALL.THE CASINO DOES NOT PAY WELL AT ALL,THE FOOD IS GOOD.THE MORNING WE LEFT ABOUT 5 A.M. TO CATCH THE PLANE A WORKING GIRL HAD AN ARGUMENT WITH POTENTIAL CUSTOMER AND SHALL WE SAY HER CHAPARONE GOT INVOLVED ALLTHOUGH SECURITY RESPONDED QUICKLY.WE PROBABLY WONT STAY AGAIN.

0 Stars RateVegas User September 06, 2000

Excellent bargain. Great location. Rooms more then adequate with a great view from our King bedroom window.

0 Stars RateVegas User July 21, 2000

We really enjoyed our 7 night stay at the BC. It was just the right size hotel, easy to find the elevator, room was very nice and the view spectacular. We were treated to the Bellagio water show every half hour or so. Great location and the staff were always very nice. Only flaw - the bathroom - outdated tub and the plug wouldn't go in - so no long soak after all that walking and walking and walking. But we would definately go back any time.

0 Stars RateVegas User April 19, 2000

Nothing special at the Barbary Coast. The room was nice size wise, but other than that...
