We had family that stayed at the Sahara during 3/27-3/29. My husband and I and some of our family had dinner at the caravan diner in the Sahara. We sat down to eat our dinner and were totally appaled by the lack of management care! At the table accross from us were two couples that were so completly drunk and utterly rude and loud. The couples at that table were saying racial slurs and using so much loud profanity it was completly ridiculous. The manager said not one word to this table. I felt that we were not the only table in that diner that was spending our hard earned money and should at least have the decenty to enjoy a meal without this nonsense. The manager could've handled this matter by either asking that table to move to the back or tell that table that they needed to respect the others that were dinning there also. He did nothing but stand back and listen while the drunks at that table stare and loudly blurt out profanity and racial remarks. My husband finally asked the table if they could please keep it down when one of the ladies at that table blurted out racial remarks with a following of profanities. We turned around to try and ignore and my husband got up to ask for our meals to be packed up when one of the ladies at that table threw food over at our table. When my husabnd got up and took matters into his own hands and told those people to leave, One of the ladies jumped over the table and assalted my husband by scratching his neck and ripping his shirt. Meanwhile the manager did nothing. After all this happened can you believe that all the manager cared about was that he didn't get the payment for food!! we didn't get our food we only were served drinks! unreal! When casino security finally arrived, my husband showed them what this woman did to him and asked to file a report for assalt. The casino security tried to sway my husband not to file a report. some of the casino security instead of being the neutral party were actually rude. One securiy guard in particular by the name of S. Albert approached me after asking to get his name because I was going to file a complaint got right in my face while I was sitting down and threated me by saying "I need to watch my mouth" and "I don't know what I was talking about" because I witnesseed this security guard hold hands with the ladies that assalted my husband and overheard him telling them that they don't need to worry and he wouldn't let anything happen to them! IT was our word against theirs! I requested that if wittness' were needed that there was camaras in there and to look at the videos. Anyway I thought these security guards are supposed to be the neutral party and just take the statements to file the report? After taking pictures of my husbands neck and shirt, and being held in the waiting room for 3 hours and enduring the other lady who assalted him yell out racial slurs from the other side of the holding room, The Nevada metro police department arrived informed my husband that she would not be arrested for anything! that california state law is different then Nevada law! Horrible dinning experience, horrible casino security, and horrible state law! My husband is in the military, serves our country and would never lay a hand on a woman! why should she have been able to lay a hand on him and get away with it!! We Will never go to the Sahara again! Getto casino where the elevator doors randomly close right on you!! and the riff raff that is hanging out at that hotel/casino is unreal! Time for that casino to come down!!!

$9.99 Prime Rib! AWESOME VALUE! if you have a Sahara club card it's only $7.99. What a deal.

The prime rib special in the afternoon from about 4-7PM is wonderful. I think it is about $5.95. The service is a little slow but overall this coffee shop will never serve you a bad meal. It's much better than the upstairs buffet.

Just like Denny's, but atleast at Denny's you dont have to wait for a cocktail waitress to come in from the casino to bring your beer. What's up with that? Not bad for a quick bite though.

Had the Sapparo Ichiban (Japanese noodles) which ended up being a package of ramen with chicken added. I know, what can you expect from a coffee shop. But my friends' fries were cold and the service was non-existent. Plus the noodles made me sick later.

Service Sucks!!! Waiters are rude and slower then slow. Food was ok but usually cold because it takes forever to get your food.
