Not the prettiest place to dine, but the food is amazing, and very cheap. Looks are deceiving. 2 egg breakfast $2.99 and the full rack of ribs $9.99 are the business. Give it a go!
My wife and I decided to eat here one night and both ordered a daily special. My wife ordered the 10 oz ribeye steak and I ordered the pasta bar. My wife's steak was tender, tasty and served medium rare per her request. She shared some of it with me and it had great flavor and tenderness. It was served with a baked potato and salad bar. I got my choice of pasta and I asked for the penne. The penne was moist and tender and the marina sauce was tasty with the right amount of spices. You get your choice of about 10 items (can have every one if you ask) to add to the marinara sauce and I chose peppers, onions, mushrooms and shrimp. They also had meatballs, Italian sausage, etc if you wanted them. The chef actually cooks the sauce in a skillet right there as you wait and then serves it on top of a heeping plate of pasta. It was fabulous. It also came with a salad and dessert bar. Service was good, even though the place was quite packed on a Saturday. The entire bill with drinks and tip was around 25 bucks...good deal. But I think you have to get there before 6:30 PM for the special prices. You can always go somewhere else and pay double if you want, but why? We'll be going back.
Came in for breakfast. Staple dishes done up more for speed than taste. Can't say it was bad but must admit not great. Had better at Denny's for about the same price.
While on Freemont street wife and I found the courtyard grill and buffet at Fitzgeralds. We were curious about their $9.99 10oz rib eye steak special with soup, salad bar and dessert included. Food was great, and the service was awesome. Even though it says only from 3-6 pm, don't worry they still serve it after that, we walked in at 7:30 and we recieved the special no problem. Wife and I went back to Freemont street 2 more times and visited the courtyard grill, we were not dissapointed.
My wife and I ate dinner here this past Sunday evening. I had the early bird special which was the pasta bar. The pasta was fresh, the sauce very tastey, and I added fresh mushrooms, peppers, onions and 6 big shrimp. It was delicious. The chef prepares it right in front of you and they had many choices such as meatballs, sausage, etc. They will add every ingredient they offer if that's what you want. It included a salad, soup, fruit, and dessert bar as well and the price was $5.99. My wife had the 10 ounce ribeye steak special. It was actually very good. Perfectly cooked and tender. It also came with salad, soup, baked potato and veggies for $8.99. With beverages and coffee and tip the bill was less than 25 bucks! We were staying at the new ARIA resort and had their buffet the night before and it was below average and it cost us 85 bucks. We were hesitant to go back to old vegas to eat because of a bad experience at the Four Queens a few years back. My wife and I ordered their 5.99 prime rib special. I ordered mine medium rare and the waiter brought me a well done end piece and told me that's all they had. I told him I didn't want it so he brought it back to the kitchen. My wife ordered hers well donw so she was content until she ate it. Suddenly the server reappeared with a medium rare cut. What they were tyring to do was get rid of all the old burnt pieces first. The meat was tough and fatty. They drowned it in aujus and my baked potato and cafeteria veggis were soggy and saturated. They even has generic brand steak sauce and ketchup on the table and it was terrible.
