Food was delicious and strawberry margaritas were fantastic! Will definitely come again! The coupon for buy 1 drink get 1 free was an added bonus! Yum!

Great happy hour specials. Great place to hang-out, have a drink, and people-watch.

Great service. Food rivals some of the good places in Texas. Generous portions. Pork carnitas, steak burrito enchilada style, chicken quesadilla. All were good. Price is good for Vegas but still a little high. $73 for those three items plus two Dos Equis beers. We will come back.

We chose Isla because of the great reviews and it was an easy walk from our hotel, Encore. The food was wonderful! The service was prompt and attentive, even though our server also had a wedding party of 20. My husband had the cheese enchiladas and I had the carne asada tacos. After chips, salsa and added guacamole, we unfortunately couldn't finish our meals, both wishing we could. We both had a margarita (strawberry & pineapple) and neither of us impressed. Even less so when the bill came at $9.50 each. But we'll definitely be back!

Waiter was prompt & energetic. Chips & salsa tasty. Mojitos were all good - we tried several. All the meals were amazing - pork carnitas, seafood enchillada, chicken fajitas & beef tenderloin. Reasonable prices too considering how much we drank.

The food was bad and the staff was extremely rude and slow. We got there 30 minutes before they closed and still they didn't want to take our order. The waitress was acting like we just burnt her house down or something. Will ansolutly never ever eat there again

Was asked to leave for smoking a cigar in the bar area! I sat as close to the casino as possible but was still asked to leave by the very rude staff.....I will never go there again. Crap bar in a great hotel

The food here was amazing! You begin with the most delicious chips and salsas and guacamole. Definitely order their mojitos-perfectly made and fresh!! I ordered the filet mignon and it was so tender and decadent. I love Isla!!

Had dinner here on a Saturday night. The place was fairly busy but the service was prompt. I would recommend the guacamole and the pork carnitas. Great top shelf margarita as expected.

This place was expensive, expensive, expensive and the food was below average. Will not return. Typical Vegas mexican food.

I have eaten at several other Richard Sandoval restaurants in Denver and San Francisco and they are all great. The only other modern mexican I have eaten in Vegas is Diego at MGM, and I prefer Isla.

My wife and I love a good margarita and they did not disappoint. They have a Tequila Goddess that will come to your table and answer any questions you have or make recommendations about their huge selection of tequila. We each had two of their Cadillac Margaritas, one with Corazón Añejo and the other with Herradura Añejo tequila. The meal was equally as good; I had a carne asasda burrito and my wife had chicken enchiladas. We also ordered their fresh guacamole to eat with the chips they bring you. The best part of the meal was the waiter. I forget his name, but he provided outstanding service throughout the entire meal. I highly recommend Isla if you’re looking for a reasonably priced Mexican dinner, excellent margaritas and great service. Total bill was $110, with a generous tip.

Had a fantastic dinner here. Ordered the Tortilla Soup, Pork dish and some potatoes. The soup was great, the pork was incredible and the potatoes were potatoes. Service was a little thin - my cocktail took about 10 minutes to arrive. Other than that, no problems. Isla is a great choice for some tasty Mexican food.

I never thought i'd live to see it, but here it is: GOOD MEXICAN IN VEGAS! I never understood how the strip could constantly screw up mexican food when Southern Cali is right next door, but they finally got it right. The carne asada is tender, and the bar is nice. I never thought i'd feel right paying 12 dollars for a burrito, but I didnt complain too much. Good job on this one TI.

This past weekend I checked out the newest restaurant addition to Treasure Island, the Isla Mexican Kitchen and Tequila Bar.

Isla (pronounced is-la) is located where Madame Ching's was, next to the buffet.

It features a small bar/lounge open to the casino that features dozens of different types of tequila. The restaurant is located behind the bar, which is made of glass allowing you to see through it.

We decided to try a few dishes to get a feel for the tastes. Coming from Southern California, we have many options at home for Mexican food and eat it often. I have never been that impressed with Mexican food offerings in Las Vegas casinos, so I was interested in trying Isla.

We started out with some chips that come with three kinds of salsa. All were quite tasty and looked very fresh.

Next up was the 'guacamole cart'. You choose one of several types of guacamole from the menu and they bring out a cart and make it for you fresh right there. We chose a guacamole that combined the traditional avocado with chipotle and pumpkin seeds, based on the recommendation of our server. I was a little way of pumpkin seeds in my guacamole, but I certainly stand corrected. It was fantastic.

For an entrée I chose steak tacos. They were prepared in freshly made flour tortillas and covered in a creamy sauce with a little spice. They were also served with beans and rice. The tacos were great and very filling.

We opted out of desert as we had already eaten quite a bit.

Total for two with a few beers was around $60.

I have finally found a Mexican restaurant in a Las Vegas casino that I can recommend to others!
