Good burgers, quick service and a good beer selection. I'll be back.
Beer specials and a varied and reasonably priced menu. Hard to beat. Probably the best casual between NY-NY and Mirage.
Nice place, great place to watch a game but I have one issue: the burger buns are too damn big and fluffy. Felt like I ate a whole loaf of bread with my burger. The bun is supposed to accentuate the burger; these buns dominate the burger and take over the whole damn show.
I really like the Pub. The food is good, an awesome selection of beers on tap and a fun environment. Sometimes the service can be a bit slow and while the food is good, I can think of one thing, other than the beer, that I would say you must try.
Food was ok not bad but don't go out of your way to eat here.
Happy hour(3-7pm) offers 2for1 beers but prices are still too high for domestic beers. Wings were good.
Great place!! Love the banana drink and onion rings.. Will definitely visit again!!!!
The Pub is awesome!! We've been there twice and it is always worthwhile. If you can, sit at the bar and get Aussie as your bartender. He's pretty funny, and always good at having a good conversation. Highly recommend their signature pub burger, it's great, just be sure to come with an appetite! Get their beer batter or mesquite fries, some of the best french fries I've ever had. They have two for one drink happy hour which is pretty cool. Ask for Aussie's love juice if your a lady- it's a pretty yummy shooter. I'll make time to go there every time I'm in Vegas!
It more a sports bar than a pub, lots of concerts and special evens so check in advance if they will be charging to get in. They said they were going to leave the end of the bar open during events for off sales. The pints we ordered were both $10 each so a little steep. Ordered pizza and tower of rings, both very tasty. Beer sampler can be ordered as well for 5 7oz beers for $35
Great restaurant. Relaxed atmosphere & the service was perfect. Our waiter did a wonderful job recommending brews. Has the chicken nachos and our entered and dessert - smores platter. With 4 adults plus drinks dinner was well priced at $130. Fish, chicken & beef - all good.
Not quite got the beer quality right but amazing selection and some great value drinks deals would recommend!
This place is now simply called "The Pub." I miss the days when it was the MC Brew Pub, and they had some great microbrews, made on premises.
They still have an impressive selection of beers, both draft and bottle. But the food menu is much smaller than it used to be, and I find the food quality not as good any more.
I ate at the pub at Monte Carlo a couple of times on my December trip. The beer selection is top notch and the food is awesome. I especially enjoyed the burger and the wood fired oven pizza. The bartenders were fairly knowledgeable about the beer. Great place for a bite and a beer and to catch a game.
Great pub!
Awesome pub!!
My wife and I along with my brother his wife and 2 of their adult children and their spouses stayed at the Monte Carlo. The rooms were adequate and clean and the hotel and casino were easy to navigate. Our problems were associated with the restaurants. First night there we ate at the PUB all couples on separate checks. Upon checkout the was a $179.00 charge for that night at the PUB. My wife and I had a hamburg each and 2-3 drinks beer mostly. Upon checkout we questioned the charge. The PUB manager Brian said he would look into it and email me with a copy of the bill. It's now 10 days later and no email. We also ate at the new Italian restaurant called d.vino. The lighting was so low and the print so small on the menu that we had to leave our table and find some light to read. After ordering and receiving both the appetizer and the entre the waiter (Daniel) asked how everything was I mentioned that the portion was so small that I would have to eat somewhere else afterwords. He just shrugged and walked away. Even the manager said that they had had several complaints about the lighting and potion sizes but offered no satisfaction. The result of these experiences was that we cancelled out dinner for 8 at the Brand Staek House at the Monte Carlo and we went to the MGM and had afabulous meal at the Craft Steak House.
Went with a large group of people after a wedding on a Saturday night to see the newly renovated Pub at Monte Carlo. Fantastic beer selection, great pub food and inconsistent service. Bartenders were great, the servers not so much. Sports on lots of tv's till 10pm then live music. I will definitely go back again.
I love this place. I've been going here for years. Great food and great selection of beer. Sad to hear that it will be closing this winter.
ALWAYS A FUN PLACE TO GO, ESP. FOR LUNCH. GOOD FOOD!
Food is average but well priced,Beer needs to improve and call drinks very weak. Our service was always slow but live entertainment was fun!
I feel this was one of my favorite places the last time I visited. They have these HUGE beers there, of which they brew themselves, that have their own spiggots on them. Plus,it was a great atmosphere in the afternoon to watch football. I loved it!
Service was excellent both times we went. Food is very decent for bar-fare, especially the Grande Burrito. Beer is pretty good but think the beer at Main Street Station was better. Did like the Pale Ale however and could you can get it on the casino floor if you asked for it specifically.
The calamari was pretty good, and there was quite a bit of it. Had to run a separate food tab from beer tab, sitting at the bar: odd. Beers were uneven, the red and seasonal pilsner good to pretty good, the rest not great. Stick a lemon in the wheat (not a hefeweizen) and it's ok. Decor is a little too industrial for my taste. Unusual "pitchers" look more like some sort of beer bong. Needs a better brewmaster.
Very good food and cover band, but the micro brew beer is okay at best.
Slowest service I've ever had. Once we got of meal and beer the waitress didn't come back until we got the check. Later that same day I went back wth 2 other friends who wanted a quick bite and to watch a baseball game a tthe bar. The bartender said he couldn't change the TV Channels from the bar, that he needed to walk all the way across the restaurant. We left after 10 minutes and they got McDonalds at the food court and ate that at the Houdini Lounge. The Beer is good and cheap but the service ruins it. 'Gamey' taste to the steak sandwich :-(
This place could be a gem but only after a drastic change in daily operations. Maybe we were just there on their worst day ever but I get the impression that it is pretty bad more often than not.
Some great beer that they brew right there in the pub. One of the best things about the Monte Carlo is this restaurant.
not bad @ all. Combination of a good enviornment, good looking women, decent food & good beer MAKE FOR A PLEASUREABLE EXPERIENCE.
The food was about what you would expect from a brewpub and we had good service on both visits. Reasonably priced too. It is now one of my favorite places to eat and drink on the strip.
Very good food, nice menu and great beer. The hamburgers are big and tasty. I had the fish and chips and it was delicious. A fun place to eat with great food and drink.
I am amazed that the Brew Pub has received such high ratings! While the food was decent, I found the service terrible, particularly for such a wonderful hotel. My first experience was an early dinner. I waited 10 minutes to be asked for a drink order. The drinks came promptly, but I waited another 5 (after deciding what to eat and putting my menu down) for someone to take my food order.
The appetizer arrived 25 minutes later. The entree arrived about 1 minute after that. The server offered no apologies until I mentioned the poor timing and then he said, "Sorry, we're very busy". Which, obviously, they were not. It was about 5:15pm, and the dining room was less than half full. Anyhow, the food wasn't terrible, but the meal was spoiled because of the poor service.
I decided to give it another try, thinking that the brews might be a redeeming factor. The next night, I was ignored by a bartender who was spending his time wathcing a game. When he came around, I asked for the brew sampler, which he swore was the best value. The beers all sucked. Horrible. I couldn't believe it. And I love beer!
The Monte Carlo is one of my favorite places to stay because of it's elegance and lack of Vegas tackiness. It's a small hotel, and I usually feel as though I'm treated well there. However, I doubt I will give the Brw Pub another shot.
The food was good, large portions and not overpriced. The service is great nice and friendly. And great selection of beer.
The food was good for a bar restaurant. The place is very noisy! The service was slow. Looks like a good place to go at night (dancing and load music). I'm not sure that I would go their again.
Good bar food with good service. A good place to watch the game or relax.
