Restaurant Ratings & Reviews Red Square (Mandalay Bay)

3 Stars Michael February 24, 2012

We must have hit an off night. From the time we arrived, there was a group of loud intoxicated people standing 3 feet from our booth. The server was very good at his job, and very informative for our first experience with Caviar. The lobster was very good, the fillet was a bit gamy tasting.

Great martinis and excellent bar menu. Bartenders mixed excellent drinks.

Food was amazing and the vodka was better

When you read reviews it can tend to influence what to expect. I found the red lighting enjoyable, and the techno music was not over powering as some had suggested. Even before I went in, by studying the menu I knew what I was going to eat, but that was out the window when we were presented with the tasting menu. First a small sampling of caviar, then foie gras (sorry ducks), house salad, and filet mignon. Thoroughly enjoyable. Creme brûlée for desert. Great experience with exceptional service. Strong drinks.

On August 9th My brother Mark and I plan to return for the 12th consecutive year to chill down and enjoy our Las Vegas gambling spree. Our consensus is that the Red Square fills the bill with the most cold and dense martinis in town. We suggest you try any vodka with the blue cheese stuffed olives at the ice bar. This is a great experience, but be prepared to pay $15 per martini.

Love this place! Do yourself a big favor and try their take on a bloody mary!

It would be a five star place if it weren't pretty much dead on the weekdays. Red Square is a great dinner spot. Food and service are excellent. It also happens to be my favorite bar at Mandalay with vodka and caviar pairings to die for. Sit at the table in the center when you first walk in and you're sure to make a few new friends.

Unique bar and dining experience. Pricey but worth it. Very romantic atmosphere.

Seafood?!?! Not unless you count one lobster dish and caviar appetizers as seafood! This is hearty, Russian inspired food: stroganoff with filet mignon tips, chicken Kiev, fennel duck confit. It's consistently very good quality, but very loud. The drinks are amazing and the vodka selection is rightly lauded as one of the best in the US.

This is my favorite restaurant in Vegas. Other great restaurants like Picasso and SW are great for a romantic experience but quality of food aside, the decor is non other. High quality of service and great selection of vodka. This is one restaurant I must always go to when visiting Vegas.

Excellent! Prices are high, but so is the quaility. Wide variety of vodka drinks & they have a few Russian beers, which I hear are very good (I'm not a beer drinker) my personal fave is the Sangria. The caviar is very good. Don't go for the cheap stuff, get the Osetra.

Good vodka in the drinks. The beef stroganoff we had was very tasty. The only down side was the loud techno music they insisted on piping in that made having a conversation between four people next to impossible. Why do restaurant owners have a hard time grasping the idea we are not there for the music but for the food and the dining experience?

The Red Square has a really good atmosphere. Their food is okay. It is pretty expensive, but the service is great. It is a cozy restaurant with a unique feel. There is no place in the world like it. I would recommend it if you just won big in the casino.

This is owned by the same management as RUNSjungle, next door.
Customer satisfaction is not a high priority. If they have tuna, don't eat it.

Did not actually eat here, but had drinks here. Over 150 kinds of vodka and some pretty interesting drinks. A little pricey, but exceptional quality and they are not cheap with the alcohol. A different atmosphere worth trying.
